Pan African Theme Hall
PAN-AFRICAN THEME HALL (PATH)
Our Pan-African Theme Hall, or PATH, is located within the Pentland Hills residence hall and welcomes all students with goals of expanding the student consciousness of Pan-African culture and its relationship to all cultures.
Each year, PATH draws a first-rate group of dynamic individuals who make the hall an uplifting, fun space. Part of the magic of college life is that the people you live with really do become some of your closest lifelong friends. Living on PATH allows you to connect with fellow creative, intelligent scholars sharing similar academic and social goals, and whom you will want to know for years to come.
You can also take advantage of a number of exciting resources and networking opportunities throughout the year including valuable academic workshops, special guest presentations, hall dinners, social functions, unique field trips and a multitude of cultural events designed to enlighten and entertain. PATH also offers a peer mentor program and all PATH residents receive a peer mentor.
One unique opportunity is the Latosha K. Wallace Scholarship, an exclusive scholarship available only to students who have lived on PATH for at least one quarter. See our scholarship page for more details.
All PATH rooms are same gender. Pentland Hills is a suite-style housing arrangement consisting of six to eight suites per building. Each suite has four double-occupancy rooms, two private restrooms, two private shower rooms and a living room with a microwave and a refrigerator. Pentland Hills is home to approximately 1,230 residents.
If you are interested in living on PATH, you can get more information at UCR’s Housing website.
